Bankruptcy judge orders Checker Motors to make severance payments to more than 100 workers (The Kalamazoo Gazette)

KALAMAZOO -- More than 100 union-represented employees of Checker Motors Corp. will receive severance payments from the company, a bankruptcy judge in Grand Rapids ordered Wednesday.
