Fleetwood loses popular Athena diner (The Journal News)

Despite its popularity, the Fleetwood diner couldn't survive a recent drop in business and an increase in rent, and it closed its doors for good Sunday. Owner Sia Zapantis shared tears and hugs with her customers yesterday as she cleaned out shelves and packed up supplies.
